I asked dad, a former award-winning
amateur figure skater, to name his 3 all time favorite skaters:
Sonja Henie, Scott Hamilton and Dorothy Hamill. I then created
the design above, left. But, the first day he wore his new shirt
he cut a hole in the center at the waist while fixing something
for my mother.
From a ruined shirt to a design opportunity! We added one more
favorite, Peggy Fleming, to balance out the design and created
a band of skates at the waist. Peggy's skates are stitched over
the hole. This is one of his favorite shirts! |
